Gilgamesh – Gilgamesh
켄터베리계의 거물 Gilgamesh는 Sunship을 전신으로 하여 75년 본 앨범으로 레코드 데뷔하였다. 확실히 켄터베리계의 재즈록을 대표하는 사운드로 Hatfields와 함께 높은 음악성을 지니고 있다. Gowen의 키보드가 주체가 되어있지만 각 멤버들이 펼치는 즉흥 연주도 긴장감이 풍부하다. 기타를 맡은 Phil Lee는 나머지 백연주에는 참여하지 않고 솔로 파트를 처리하고 있다. Gowen의 음악적 재능이 이 시점에서 완전히 개화하고 있다고 하겠다. 77년경 Gilgamesh는 해산상태가 되었고(Hatfields와 동일) 후에 켄터베리계의 수퍼그룹 National Health가 결성되었다.
