Tom Newman – Faerie Symphony
Virgin 레코드의 스튜디오 “마나”의 수석 엔지니어였던 Tom Newman, Mike Oldfield의 명반 <Tubular Bells>도 그의 수완에 힘입은 바가 크다. 그는 솔로 앨범을 2매 제작하였으며, 본작은 두 번째 것이다. 1집은 팝적인 작푸으로 당시의 버진 이미자와는 다소 다른 것이었다. 본작품은 1집과는 매우 다르며 Mike Olfield와 Jade Warrior를 혼합시킨 듯한, 신비롭고 아름다운 프로그레시브 작품을 완성하였고 비교할 수 없이 아름다운 재킷과 더불어 많은 팬들에게 애청되고 있다. 69년 그룹 July에서 활동을 함께 하던 Jade Warrior의 John Fields의 뒷받침도 절묘하다.
